Bill Hearings This Week 1/28/2024-2/1/2024

Here are some additional bills in Concord this week that are of importance to many of our members and voters.

The full House is set to vote on Reconsideration of HB 396 on February 1, 2024.

This bill was passed by the full House on January 4, 2024 by only a 192-184 margin. A Democratic member who initially voted to approve, moved for Reconsideration and therefore, it will be up for discussion once again.

Several of our Hillsborough County Representatives are sponsors of this common sense bill which protects girls and women by differentiating biological sex in areas such as restrooms, athletic competitions and prisons.

Contact all your representatives and urge them to VOTE AGAINST Reconsideration on February 1.
